Is that we don’t see the characters hang out enough. It’s all well and good showing us them hunting down Vampires. But I never feel like we get a good view of who Alucard is and his personality. He idolises humanity, but never seems to interact with anyone or show any signs of wanting to.

The characters are amazing, but I’m always left wishing it was a little lighter and that Seras and co. had more good times and were shown being an active part of the world they were protecting.

Plus, I can never stand it when Alucard refers to himself as a monster. Because it’s really, really not true and his friends never seem to try and cheer him up.

Know what I mean?
